It is understood that the annual output of durian in Thailand has been relatively stable, with an average annual output of 600000 tons in the past five years. It is expected that this year's output will reach 780000 tons, a substantial increase over the same period last year. But in any case, let a Durian producing country with an annual output of less than one million tons support a huge supply order of 20 million tons? Even if the ideal is better, it's probably a dream.

Shengsu, director of the agricultural academic department of the Ministry of agriculture and cooperatives of Thailand, said recently that Thailand has reached a new protocol with the General Administration of Customs of China to open China's Dongxing port and Pingxiang railway port as a special channel for Thailand's fruit import to China, which will help Thailand's fruit import to China faster and solve the transportation bottleneck of friendship customs port.

Shengsu pointed out that the opening of the above two ports is undoubtedly a good thing for Thailand's fruit export industry, and also provides more convenience for Chinese consumers to buy Thai fruit.

According to the report, durian fruit trees in Fuji of Southern Xinjiang have blossomed and bearing fruit, and can be picked and exported in July. Before that, Nanjiang government administration center had worried about the impact of the epidemic on durian export, and held a meeting to negotiate the sale of durian in 2020 to help farmers broaden the sales channels.

The Secretary General of Nanjiang government administration center also said that at present, negotiations have been carried out with a number of durian manufacturers. Last year, the purchasing capacity was 12000 tons, and this year, it is expected to purchase about 20000 tons. He pointed out that the price of durian exported to the Chinese market this year will not be lower than last year, or even higher than before.
